相信在雅思阅读考试中，TRUE/FALSE/NOT GIVEN判断题是令很多考生头疼的题型之一，该题型的特点是出题频率高、出题量大，要求考生们有准确定位细节信息、判断选项的能力。

什么是含有比较的判断题型
比较题型的题干中通常会含有以下标志词：
than
the same as
be similar to
……
? Research into agent technology was more costly than research into neural networks.
? Ants use the same channels of communication as humans do.
? In the follow-up class, the teaching activities are similar to those used in conventional classes.
拿到含有比较的判断题型，第一步就是要寻找比较信号词，确定比较双方到原文中定位。
这时我们可能会遇到五种不同的情况，以下就由小智来为大家一一讲解。
1.在原文中只能够找到比较的一方，则直接判断为NOT GIVEN
题干：Arranging a stamp collection by the size of the stamps is less common than other methods.
原文：Stamp collectors, for instance, arrange their stamps in albums, usually very neatly, organizing their collection according to certain commonplace principles-Perhaps by country in alphabetical order懒人修仙传 , or grouping stamps by what they depict - people大自在祈祷文 , birds, maps, and so on.
根据题干中的比较信号词than，我们发现比较的双方为by the size和other methods，在原文中我们无法找到collect by the size，则直接判断为NOT GIVEN。
2.在原文中能够找到比较双方，但这两方不存在比较关系，则直接判断为NOT GIVEN
题干：Early peoples found it easier to count by using their fingers rather than a group of pebbles.
原文：Counting is not directly related to the formation of a number concept because it is possible to count by matching the items being counted against a group of pebbles, grains of corn, or the counter‘s fingers.
根据题干中的比较信号词than，我们发现比较的双方为fingers和 a group of pebbles，虽然在原文中能找到两者梦见山崩地裂 ，但两者之间是由or连接的并列关系，并不存在比较，因此则直接判断为NOT GIVEN。
3.在原文中能够找到比较双方，这两方也存在比较关系魔兽改建器 ，唐朝历代皇帝 但比较的标准不同，则判断为NOT GIVEN
题干：Fewer bilingual people than monolingual people suffer from brain disease in old age.
原文：In a study of over 200 patients with Alzheimer`s disease, a degenerative brain disease天下道门 , bilingual patients reported showing initial symptoms of the disease an average of five years later than monolingual patients.
根据题干中的比较信号词than，我们发现比较的双方为bilingual people和monolingual people，两者都能在原文中找到，也确实存在了比较关系，但题干中比较的标准是fewer，即数量香粉世家 ，而原文中比较的是later than，即时间，因此比较的标准不同，可以判断为NOT GIVEN。
4.在原文中能够找到比较双方，这两方存在比较关系，比较的标准也相同，若程度相同，则判断为TRUE/YES
题干：International trade is increasing at a greater rate than the world economy.
原文：International trade is growing at a startling pace. While the global economy has been expanding at a bit over 3% a year六盘水水怪 , the volume of trade has been rising at a compound annual rate of about twice that.
根据题干中的比较信号词than至酷动漫，我们发现比较的双方为International trade和the world economy人皮锦衣 ，崔心心 在原文中能够找到International trade剑屠天碑，和world economy的同义替换形式global economy，两者之间存在比较关系，global economy扩张速度约为每年3%，而International trade增长速度为它的两倍（twice），与原文中的a greater rate比较的标准相同，程度也相同，则判断为TRUE/YES东亚票务 。
5.在原文中能够找到比较双方，这两方存在比较关系速溶茶，比较的标准也相同吉本芭娜娜 ，若程度不同，则判断为FALSE/NO
题干：Water use per person is higher in the industrial world than it was in Ancient Rome.
原文：At the height of the Roman Empire, nine major systems, with an innovative layout of pipes and well-built sewers, supplied the occupants of Rome with as much water per person as is provided in many parts of the industrial world today.
根据题干中的比较信号词than，我们发现比较的双方为Water use per person in the industrial world和Water use per person in Ancient Rome.在原文中能够找到这两者闽南话翻译 ，也存在了比较关系（as much as），但题干中是higher，与原文中的同样多相互矛盾，因此判断为FALSE/NO。
